Don’t miss a moment of the Big Church Day Out – camp with us! Exclusive after hours entertainment, our Sunday morning campers service, fabulous food and breath-taking views are just some of the things that make the Big Church Campsite the perfect place to stay. The Big Church Campsite has its own real sense of community. Campers who normally live in various parts of the country pitch up and are nestled together as neighbours for the weekend. This is a key opportunity to soak in every second of the event so make sure you don’t miss out!
You can camp on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You only need to purchase one camping ticket per person, regardless of whether you choose to camp for 1, 2 or 3 nights. Everyone camping will need a camping ticket, including under 4's and carers.
Your event ticket is not included and will need to be purchased separately.
Friday 24th May (Campers only): The campsite, car parks and ticket gates open at 12 midday. Ticket gates will close at 10pm. However, if you arrive after this time then we will allow you to camp. You will then need to go back to the Camping ticket gate in the morning to collect your wristbands.
Saturday 25th May: Car parks open at 9am and all ticket gates open at 10.30am. It will not be possible to enter the Campsite before the ticket gate is open. Ticket gates close at 10pm.
Sunday 26th May: Car parks open at 9am and all ticket gates open at 10.30am. It will not be possible to enter the Campsite before the ticket gate is open. Ticket gates close at 10pm.
Monday 27th May (Campers only): Campsite closes at 12 midday.
We have lots of toilets and standpipes for filling your water containers and multi-tap units for brushing your teeth! We also have plenty of showers, which are free of charge available to all campers and open across the weekend.
CAMPERVANS AND CARAVANS
We want you to be as comfortable as possible so campervans and caravans are very welcome at the Big Church Day Out.
Caravans and campervans will be put together in their own field, which is close to the main campsite. We realise that this may split groups up, as all campers in tents will be in the main campsite, but we do this to look after the land and keep everyone safe.
You will need to buy a camping ticket per person as well as a caravan/campervan ticket for every caravan/campervan you bring.
ELECTRICAL HOOK UPS
Soon we will have electrical hook ups available for the weekend for caravans/motorhomes/campervans only. The cost is £60 per caravan. This gives you power from Friday 24th - Monday 27th at 12pm. You will need at least 10m of 16amp cable to reach the nearest power source. You will need to purchase an electrical hook-up through our website.
If you have a specific medical need and require an electric hook-up, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with as much information as possible so that we can review your request. Please include relevant documentation such as a doctors note. We'll then let you know whether we're able to provide this free of charge.
Please note that those requiring electrical hook-ups for medical reasons will need to be coming in a caravan or tent and will need to camp in the Caravan field or Disabled Campsite as this is the only area where electrical hook ups will be available.Upon arrival, please make one of the campsite team aware by showing your e-ticket that you have been authorised for an electric hook-up for medical reasons so you are then directed to the correct place.
When requesting power please be aware that the site is powered by generators, it could go off at any point so we can not guarantee it on permanently during the festival. Should a generator power off one of our engineers will be working to get it on again as soon as possible.
You don’t remember the nights you go to bed early – so stay up late for this exclusive campers-only content and squeeze every ounce of fun out of your time at the Big Church Day Out.
Our hugely popular Sunday morning campers service, will be back again this year! From 9.30 - 10.30am this is family friendly morning packed full of worship, interactive kid’s content and an inspiring speaker. It’s the perfect way to start the day. The Tearfund Cafe will open up after the service.
